1. Overview: FAR DFARS Government Contract Compliance encompasses various essential elements, including clauses related to representations and certifications, subcontracting, and adherence to Government-Furnished Property (GFP) guidelines. It also involves an environmental compliance checklist, the designation of key personnel, and past performance evaluations through SAM and CPARS. Additionally, compliance with the Service Contract Act and the Davis-Bacon Act, as well as adherence to labor laws, the Buy American Act, export controls, and security protocols are critical. Cost allowability is subject to DCAA audits, and the principles of cost and price analysis as outlined in FAR Part 15 are pivotal.
